Wow! I actually got up early today. Well I better get used to it cause I have to head into NYC for a few meetings this week. The foot is doing better but it is still very sensitive. I can't remember if my skin has ever been so sensitive in my life. What did I do today? The usual breakfast and watch a little TV and I took a nap, yes I did. I made a sandwich for lunch a little while ago and sat down to catch up with my e-mails and chores. Oh, I forgot, this morning I watered the plants outside. I am such a sucker for punishment. Yes, it was not easy walking the few steps back and forth but I did it. Today is my nephew's birthday and he stopped by earlier today. Tonight we are going to visit him and enjoy a piece of birthday cake. In the news, the guy who caught the ball for the 3,000 hit by Derek Jeter may owe the IRS taxes on the items he received. Yes, it's true but let's see how it will pay out - i.e income versus gifts. Did I forget to mention that it is a sweltering day here in NYC, yes it is!
