Diantie's 365 Days to ...

The weekend is over and it is back to reality. I had to go to Brooklyn today and a little idea where I was headed. It is always interesting to me to discover neighborhoods in Brooklyn that I have never been to before. This one was a bit upscale, clean with lots of brownstones. I hang out in a cafe for a while and had a wholewheat bagel with scallion cream cheese and it was good. The hot chocolate was also good too. Getting to Brooklyn is always an experience and I always seem to get myself stuck in traffic no matter which route I take. By the time I got back to Long Island it was the end of the day and I was tired. I just finished eating dinner and now it is time to get a few things done before I call it quits for the day. I have not read the newspapers as yet but I will that later. I just read on the internet that Marilyn Monroe's white dress sold for $4.6 million. It is iconic and I am sure when most think of her, they see this dress.
